  The following information was obtained from the book "Rounsley without a "d"", written by harriett Rounsley, "Thomas Franklin ROUNSLEY, son of Sidney and Sarann ROUNSLEY, married Sarah Ann CARTWRIGHT (daughter of John CARTWRIGHT and Jane JARRETT), a they had 5 children: Ralph Ellwood ROUNSLEY, Clara Regina ROUNSLEY* (Mrs. Alvin L. SCHUCKERS), Elizabeth Jane ROUNSLEY (Mrs. WILLIAMS), Frank Arlo ROUNSLEY*, Lois Louise ROUNSLEY*" * are living as of August 8, 1998. Pine Run Coal Company is located in Armstrong/Westmoreland County. Vandergrift is on the county line of these two counties. There is also an Historical Society in Westmoreland County. In the 1900 Census he was Thomas ROUNSLEY, son of Sidney ROUNSLEY, DOB: Sept 1886, Age: 13, POB: Pa. According to this census she was living in Cambria Co., Pa on Herriman Avenue. On 30 May 1943, he married Grace Kenyon Hinkle, daughter of Mollie Davis West and Henry Powell Hinkle of Wilmore, Jessamine County, Kentucky. «tab»Frank Arlo graduated from Patton High School, then served in the United States Air Force from 1940 to 1945. In 1949 he graduated from the University of Kentucky in Lexington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce. Frank was ordained a Deacon (Ohio Conference) in 1952, and an Elder in 1957. In 1956 he received a Master of Divinity degree from Garrett Theological Seminary, Evanston, Illinois. He served a church in Sharonville, Ohio (1953-1975), Nast-Trinity in Cincinnati (1957-1962), John Stewart Church in Upper Sandusky, Ohio (1962-1968, Pleasant Ridge in Cincinnati (1968-1970), and in 1971 became Treasurer-Manager, of the West Ohio United Methodist Credit Union. «tab»Grace and Frank had two children - Katherine Louise and Molly Dee. 1.«tab»KATHERINE LOUISE ROUNSLEY, elder daughter of Grace Kenyon Hinkle and Frank Arlo Rounsley, was born 9 august 1944 at Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky. Her hobbies are reading, bird watching, plants, dried flower arranging, and pictures. She and her husband made their home in Whitesburg, Kentucky.
