  The following information was obtained from the book "Rounsley without a "d"", written by harriett Rounsley, "Sidney ROUNSLEY, son of Thomas and Elizabeth ROUNSLEY of Wheal Friendship Mine, was baptized on 15 Oct 1863. According to his grandson, Fra Arlo ROUNSELY, Sidney married Sarann STOKES. Frank's brother Ralph remembers that their father, Thomas Franklin ROUNSLEY (son of Sidney) had two brothers, Edward and Frank, and one sister, Lillian. We know that Sidney ROUNSLEY and Sarann STOKES had following children together: Lillian, Thomas Franklin, Edward, and Frank. Ralph further reports that all the men listed above died in either mining accidents or from mine related illnesses." In the 1900 Census it had, "Name: Sidney ROUNSLEY, Relation: Head, Color: White, Sex: Male, DOB: Jan 1860, Age at last birthday: 40, Married: yes, Number of years married: 16, POB: England, POB of father: England, POB of Mother: England, Citizenship 20 Nov? 1880?, Occupation: Laborer, Can Read: Yes, Can Write: Yes, Speak English: Yes, Ownership of Home: Yes - Form or house." In the 1910 Census it had, "Name: Sidney ROUNSLEY, Relation: Head, Color: White, Sex: Male, Age at last birthday: 51, Married: yes, Number of years married: 25, POB: England, POB of father: England, POB of Mother: England, Citizenship: 1882, Occupation: Miner/Coal Miner, Can Read: Yes, Can Write: Yes, Speak English: Yes, Ownership of Home: Renter, Yes, Farm or house: House." According to his gravestone found in the Fairview Cemetery, Patton, Cambria County, Pa he died in 1916. The month and day of his death was not given. According to the census, he was born in 1860; he was Bapt. in 1863; His gravestone says he was born in 1864.
